Hey Food Finders!

Here’s a new idea for some Food Finder Fun, a great children’s book recommendation! I know this is unlike my normal blog posts, but I love this book. Princesses Save the World is about a group of princesses who band together to save the Fruit World from extinction! We have a lot of Moms who read this blog, so here’s a perfect new book for your kiddos. Let’s start a new healthy foodie generation!

Princess Penelope Pineapple

This sweet book is about Princess Penelope Pineapple, who get a distress message from Princess Sabrina Strawberry, that all of the bees in her Nation are disappearing. Without bees there will be no strawberries! Penelope Pineapple knows the power of teamwork and calls a meeting of all the Princesses of the Fruit Nations to help. Each Princesses is named after a fruit from Beatrice Blueberry to Maribel Mango to Rita Raspberry.

With some creative thinking and some awesome girl-power, the eight Princesses band together to save the Fruit World. As a bonus, this book educates about the importance of honeybees to our planet’s ecosystem.

You Will Crave Fresh Fruit!

Princesses Save the World also made me crave fresh fruit after reading it!

You can’t go wrong with messages of the power of teamwork, girl-power, diversity, and caring about the earth and our environment. The cherry on the top (pun intended) is that the illustrations are colorful and gorgeous!

So if you have a little girl in your life, I highly recommend getting her this book! I don’t have a little girl in my life and I loved the book so much I bought it for myself.
